Set Up a Public Meeting

A public meeting is a great way to educate the public on climate change and climate change solutions. It’s also a perfect opportunity to recruit new members to CCL-UK.

However, a public meeting can seem daunting. You’ll need a venue, a speaker and you’ll need to publicise the event. If you’ve not done similar things before, this can seem overwhelming. What you need is some volunteers (there may well be other CCL-UK members living in your area), advice (we can give you lots of that), funding (we have a little) and perhaps a speaker if you’re not confident to do this yourself (again, CCL-UK can probably find someone for you).
