A public meeting is a great way to educate the public on climate change and climate change solutions. It’s also a perfect opportunity to recruit new members to CCL-UK.
However, a public meeting can seem daunting. You’ll need a venue, a speaker and you’ll need to publicise the event. If you’ve not done similar things before, this can seem overwhelming. What you need is advice (we can give you lots of that), some volunteers (there may well be other CCL-UK members living in your area), funding (we have a little) and perhaps a speaker if you’re not confident to do this yourself (again, CCL-UK can probably find someone for you).
